A Lament for the Colonial Pipeline Hackers

Apparently high-tech thieves don’t want to get a bad reputation. But the remorse from DarkSide, who hacked the Colonial Pipeline, might be justified. Some reports say DarkSide’s hack only affected Colonial’s corporate network. The pipeline controls were fine… but the company shut it down anyway. In other words, the outcome may have been worse than DarkSide was expecting.
