In Praise of Bad Grades
The 2017 edition of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) infrastructure report card gave America’s crumbling highways, disintegrating sewer pipes and overtaxed energy grid a D+ average — adding that it would take $4.6 trillion to bring everything up to a passing grade. Their latest report will come out on March 3, 2021… undoubtedly to be more dire than the last, with an even higher price tag attached.
